Connection issues
If your PC and smartphone do not connect, then you should try to turn off the Airplane mode.
Disable the Airplane Mode

- Go to the Notifications screen.

- Click on the bar below Set as a metered connection to switch it on.
Turn off battery saver on the computer
- Go to the Settings screen.
- Select System.
- Now, go to Battery.
- Just click on the switch below Battery saver status until next charge and disable it.
How to confirm the Microsoft account?
For Android
- Launch the Your Phone Companion app by tapping on it.
- Now, hit the gear icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select Accounts from the Settings screen.
- Now, just log in to the Microsoft account.
For Windows 10
- Launch the Settings app.
- Now, select Accounts.
- Choose the Your Info option.
- Check whether the right Microsoft account is being used.
How to allow background apps?
- Go to Settings.
- Now, just select Privacy.
- Press the Background apps option.
- Enable the Your Phone option.
- Check your phone message issue
- Launch the Settings screen.
- Select the Notifications option.
- Now, scroll through the apps and select Your Phone Companion.
- Enable the notifications.
How to fix missing text message issue?
- Launch the texting application.
- Now, tap on the hamburger button located in the upper right corner.
- Select Settings.
- Go to More Settings.
- Turn on Push messages.
- Turn on RCS messages.
- Turn on Advanced messaging.
